Florida’s Academic Counseling and Tracking Web site for Students. Sponsored by the Department of Education and the Florida Center for Advising & Academic Support, this free advising Web site helps students plan and track their education progress from middle school through college.
An online practice program made for Florida’s public school students by the Florida Department of Education. These programs offer practice for the skills tested on the FCAT at all educational levels. Students can log on to the Web site at any time using their assigned login name and password.

Community Service
Community service is not required for high school graduation but is strongly encouraged for the purposes of qualifying for the Bright Futures Scholarship (100 hours is required for the Academic Scholars Award and 75 is required for the Florida Medallion Scholarship) and increasing one’s chances of acceptance to universities. Community Service is a great way to give back to your community and show commitment and dedication to a cause or organization. Community Service looks impressive on a student’s resume for college.
